As Ducati embarks on its 100-year anniversary in 2026, commemorating a century of transforming a ‘Made in Italy’ dream into a global symbol of excellence, the luxury motorcycle brand has formally initiated its global centenary celebrations in India.
Event launch in India
The landmark celebrations commenced with an exclusive DRE Track Day event held at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC). The high-octane event brought together Ducati owners and their families for a day focused on performance, community engagement, and the spirit of motorcycling.
The experience was further enhanced by a stunt showcase from official Ducati stunt rider Emilio Zamora, marking his first performance in India.
DRE track day experience
The DRE Track Day, open exclusively to Ducati owners, saw participation from over 70 Ducatisti, offering them the opportunity to ride their motorcycles on a world-class racing circuit.
In addition to open sessions, the event featured three levels of training, Intro, Evo, and Master, led by DRE-certified instructors Rishi Agarwal, Anand Dharmaraj, and Dilip Lalwani, who also holds the record for the fastest lap on a production superbike.
Brand passion gets high year after year
Ducati India MD Bipul Chandra said, “As Ducati commemorates 100 years globally, India stands as a crucial market where the brand’s passion continues to intensify year after year. The DRE Track Day at BIC, coupled with Emilio Zamora’s performance and our sundowner celebration, represents a celebration of our community, our heritage, and the thrill that defines every Ducati. “
India market presence
Ducati has built a strong presence in India, one of the world’s fastest-growing premium motorcycle markets, over the last decade. With a network of nine dealerships and two exclusive service workshops in Goa and Ahmedabad, the company continues to focus on delivering premium ownership experiences.
