Toyota Kirloskar Motor Inks MoU With Karnataka Govt For TKM Bizintel Hub

Toyota Kirloskar Motor, an automobile manufacturer, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Karnataka to expand its operations in India through the establishment of the TKM Bizintel Hub at KWIN City in Bengaluru.

The initiative reflects the collaboration between Toyota Kirloskar Motor and the Karnataka government to strengthen engineering capabilities, digital innovation and intelligent manufacturing in the state.

Focus on digital transformation
Spread across 300 acres, the proposed TKM Bizintel Hub will focus on multiple strategic areas including testing and evaluation of mobility solutions, digital transformation across business operations and implementation of intelligent manufacturing initiatives.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor said the hub is expected to strengthen India’s position in Toyota’s global operations by leveraging the country’s engineering talent and information technology ecosystem.

The company added that the initiative aligns with its long-term focus on localisation, responsible growth and sustainable mobility solutions.

Karnataka eyes innovation-led growth
Karnataka Government, Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, said, “Toyota Kirloskar Motor has been a trusted long-term partner in Karnataka’s growth journey. The MoU marks another important milestone as we work together to deepen technology-led investments, create quality employment and promote sustainable industrial development. This partnership further strengthens Karnataka’s leadership as a global investment destination and reinforces our commitment to innovation-driven growth.”

India key market for Toyota.

KWIN City to host facility
The proposed TKM Bizintel Hub will be located at KWIN City, an integrated smart city initiative being developed by the Government of Karnataka along the Doddaballapur–Dabaspet Highway.

KWIN City, which stands for Knowledge, Wellbeing and Innovation City, is being developed with a focus on innovation, healthcare and information technology.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor and the Government of Karnataka said the partnership is expected to strengthen the state’s position as a preferred destination for technology investments, future-ready talent and innovation-led employment generation.
