Raptee.HV Partners With IDFC FIRST Bank To Further Expand EV Funding

CW Bureau ·

Electric motorcycle manufacturer Raptee.HV has partnered with IDFC FIRST Bank to make electric motorcycle ownership more accessible through enhanced financing solutions for customers across India.

The collaboration aims to address one of the key challenges in electric vehicle adoption – affordable financing – by offering attractive loan terms, faster approvals, flexible repayment options and a seamless purchase experience.

Focus on reducing ownership barriers
Raptee.HV, which is pioneering the use of electric car high-voltage technology (HV-Tec) in motorcycles, said the partnership is designed to simplify the ownership journey for prospective buyers by integrating financing into the vehicle purchase process.

The company believes easier access to credit can play a significant role in accelerating the adoption of electric motorcycles, particularly among customers transitioning from conventional internal combustion engine vehicles.

Financing to support EV adoption
Raptee.HV CEO & Co-Founder Dinesh Arjun said, “For most customers, the decision to switch to electric is not just about the motorcycle itself; it’s about how easy and convenient the entire ownership experience is.”

He added, “At Raptee.HV, we have always focused on removing friction at every step of that journey, whether it’s charging, service, insurance, or financing. Through our partnership, customers can now benefit from easier access to financing and a smoother purchase experience, making it simpler to own an electric motorcycle. This partnership is another important step towards accelerating the adoption of electric motorcycles across India.”

Expanding financing ecosystem
The partnership with IDFC FIRST Bank strengthens Raptee.HV’s growing network of financial institutions supporting its customers.

The company has already partnered with Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) and Shriram Finance to offer vehicle financing and is actively onboarding additional retail finance partners to expand customer access to credit across regions.

Strengthening customer support
Beyond financing, Raptee.HV has also entered into a partnership with Muthoot Risk Insurance and Broking Services (P) Ltd. as its preferred insurance service provider for the dealership network.

The arrangement, supported by leading general insurance companies, is expected to provide customers with streamlined insurance solutions alongside financing options during the vehicle purchase process.

With the latest partnership, Raptee.HV aims to create a more comprehensive ownership ecosystem, helping reduce upfront purchase barriers and supporting the wider adoption of electric motorcycles in India.
