Havells Tie-Up Pixii AS To Develop And Launch BESS For Indian Market

Havells India Ltd. has entered into a strategic collaboration with Norway-based Pixii AS to develop and introduce advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for the Indian market.

The partnership aims to strengthen Havells’ presence in India’s clean energy ecosystem by bringing modular energy storage solutions to customers across residential, commercial and industrial segments.

Phased rollout

The companies will follow a phased roadmap to build a long-term BESS ecosystem in India.

The initial phase will focus on pilot installations to assess market requirements and validate commercial opportunities. The partners will also co-develop an integrated energy storage solution.

The collaboration will subsequently move towards local manufacturing in India and the development of products tailored to the requirements of Indian customers.

Energy transition

The companies said the partnership combines Havells’ manufacturing capabilities, sales and distribution network and understanding of the domestic market with Pixii’s energy storage technology.
