Zoom Appoints Carlos Quaderi As APAC Head To Drive AI-Led Growth

CW Bureau ·

Zoom Communications, Inc. has appointed Carlos Quaderi as Head of Asia Pacific (APAC), effective August 1, 2026, as the company sharpens its focus on AI-driven collaboration and expands its presence across one of its fastest-growing markets.

The appointment reflects Zoom’s continued investment in the Asia-Pacific region, where enterprises are increasingly adopting AI-powered collaboration platforms that streamline workflows, enhance productivity and improve customer experiences.

Quaderi will report to Zoom Chief Sales and Growth Officer Graeme Geddes and lead the company’s go-to-market strategy across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), Asia, India and Korea, excluding Japan.

Focus on AI-powered collaboration
In his expanded role, Quaderi will oversee Zoom’s regional strategy with a focus on the customer experience (CX) business, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and the expansion of the company’s partner ecosystem.

He previously served as Zoom’s Head of Asia, where he led strategy and sales execution across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan. Based in Singapore, Quaderi will continue to oversee Zoom’s Asia business during the leadership transition.

Leadership backed by three decades of experience
A technology industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, Quaderi has held senior leadership positions at Workday, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft, leading enterprise growth and go-to-market strategies across the Asia-Pacific region.

Zoom Chief Sales and Growth Officer Graeme Geddes said APAC remains a strategic growth market for the company.

“APAC is a critical growth region, and our continued investment reflects the opportunities we see across enterprise and SMB segments, CX business and our partner ecosystem. Carlos has been instrumental in building our momentum, and expanding his leadership is a natural next step. His deep understanding of the region, customer focus and track record will help more organisations embrace Zoom’s AI capabilities in ways that improve productivity, strengthen customer relationships and accelerate business growth,” Geddes said.

Strengthening regional presence
Zoom Head of Asia Pacific Carlos Quaderi said organisations across the region are seeking technologies that combine speed, simplicity and human-centric collaboration.

“Across APAC, teams are moving faster than ever, and they need technology that keeps pace without losing the human element and momentum. I’m excited to work alongside our customers and partners in the region to help them unlock new possibilities with Zoom’s AI-powered system of action and open ecosystem, connecting conversations, people and workflows so they can move faster from ideas to impact and achieve meaningful business outcomes,” he said.

Zoom said it continues to strengthen its presence in the region by expanding its partner ecosystem and opening a new office in Singapore. The company is also enhancing its open platform ecosystem by integrating with existing business applications to help organisations improve collaboration, elevate customer experiences and simplify enterprise communications.
