Odette Charts Path To ₹300 Cr As South Fuels Fashion Retail Growth

CW Bureau ·

Fashion and lifestyle retailer Odette is targeting revenue of ₹250 crore in FY27 and expects to cross the ₹300 crore milestone within the following 12-18 months, driven by aggressive retail expansion, omnichannel investments and a sharper focus on trend-led product innovation.

The company, founded by Mamta Roy, has carved out a niche in India’s competitive fashion retail market by catering to young women seeking affordable, trend-driven apparel and accessories as they transition from college to professional life.

Odette currently generates an annual turnover of around ₹164 crore, representing 15% year-on-year growth, and is strengthening its presence across South India, which has emerged as the backbone of its expansion strategy.

Growth strategy
“Our FY27 target of ₹250 crore is driven by a multi-pronged growth strategy. We are focused on strengthening our retail footprint through expansion into key metro and Tier-II markets, while continuing to enhance the customer experience across all stores. Alongside retail growth, we are investing significantly in our digital channels, omnichannel capabilities and customer engagement initiatives,” Odette Founder Mamta Roy told Corpwhizz.com

She said product innovation would remain a major growth engine for the company.

“We are focusing on trend-led collections, faster inventory turnaround and category expansion. We are also leveraging strategic marketing collaborations, influencer partnerships and data-driven customer acquisition to increase brand visibility and customer retention. Together, these initiatives are expected to contribute significantly towards achieving our FY27 revenue target,” Roy added.

₹300 crore roadmap
Looking beyond FY27, the company expects to maintain its growth momentum and achieve the ₹300 crore revenue milestone within 12 to 18 months after reaching its FY27 target.

According to Roy, the next phase of expansion will be driven by accelerated store rollouts, deeper penetration into high-potential markets and further scaling of its digital and omnichannel business.

She said the company also sees significant opportunities through category diversification, customer loyalty programmes and strategic brand collaborations, while maintaining a strong emphasis on sustainable and profitable growth backed by operational efficiency and disciplined merchandising.

South India remains the growth engine
Unlike many national fashion brands that view South India as a secondary market, Odette has built its business by understanding the aspirations and buying behaviour of consumers across the region.

Cities such as Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi, along with emerging markets including Raichur, have become important contributors to the company’s growth. The retailer believes the region’s rising purchasing power and increasing fashion consciousness present a significant opportunity for organised fashion retail.

The company has steadily evolved from an accessories-focused retailer into a broader fashion and lifestyle brand offering apparel, accessories, footwear and other lifestyle products designed for young women seeking affordable yet contemporary fashion.

Expanding retail footprint
Odette currently operates 15 stores and plans to significantly expand its physical presence alongside strengthening its digital commerce platform.

The retailer expects its omnichannel strategy to improve customer engagement while enabling seamless shopping experiences across online and offline channels.

Industry observers note that the company’s growth reflects a broader shift in India’s fashion retail landscape, where consumers are increasingly gravitating towards brands that combine affordability with contemporary designs rather than premium pricing.

With South India continuing to anchor its expansion and digital channels complementing store growth, Odette is positioning itself as one of the emerging fashion retailers seeking to build a national presence from a strong regional foundation.
