Coca-Cola India Marks 50 Years Of Maaza With Special Postal Cover

CW Bureau ·

Coca-Cola India and the Department of Posts have released a Special Cover to mark the 50th anniversary of Maaza, India’s homegrown fruit-based beverage.

The Special Cover was unveiled on National Mango Day. The event also honoured mango farmers associated with Project Unnati by Anandana, the Coca-Cola India Foundation.

Honouring mango farmers

The company recognised the contribution of farming communities that have helped preserve India’s mango heritage and supported Maaza’s five-decade journey.

The Special Cover also celebrates the ecosystem that has enabled the brand’s growth, from farmers to processing, bottling and distribution.

Celebrating five decades

“This milestone is a testament to an efficient value chain, from sourcing and processing to bottling and distribution, that ensures our products reach consumers across the country.

The Special Cover from the Department of Posts recognises this shared journey and the ecosystem that has made it possible over the past 50 years,” said Coca-Cola India & Southwest Asia Vice President – Integrated Operations Sundeep Bajoria.

“As Maaza celebrates 50 years, this recognition belongs to every individual across the entire ecosystem whose efforts have helped make Maaza a household name across India,” said SLMG Beverages Joint Managing Director Paritosh Ladhani.

Golden jubilee celebrations

The Special Cover builds on Maaza’s golden jubilee campaign, ’50 saal se, sip-sip mein aam’, celebrating the brand’s long association with India’s national fruit.

“The release of the Special Cover by the Department of Posts is a tribute to India’s mango heritage and the farmers who sustain it,” said Union Minister of Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan.
