Jawa Yezdi Bets On Festive Demand, Kerala To Drive Nationwide Expansion

CW Bureau ·

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has unveiled its 2026 Yezdi range while announcing an aggressive retail expansion strategy, using Kerala as the launchpad during Onam season to strengthen its presence across India ahead of the festive season.

The company introduced three new motorcycles under the ‘Untamed Trinity’ line-up, the Yellow Falcon Adventure, Green Mamba Roadster, and Grey Panther Scrambler, while simultaneously expanding its retail footprint in Kerala, a key market for premium mid-capacity motorcycles.

Kerala at the heart of growth strategy
Rather than opting for a traditional metropolitan launch, Jawa Yezdi has chosen Kerala to kick off its nationwide festive campaign, reflecting the state’s strong motorcycling culture and growing importance in the premium motorcycle segment.

The company has inaugurated more than 20 sales and service touchpoints across Kerala and plans to expand to 500 touchpoints nationwide this year, with a long-term target of 700 touchpoints by FY28. Bookings for the new motorcycles have been opened across India.

New colours, upgraded technology
Leading the refreshed portfolio is the Yellow Falcon Adventure, which now comes equipped with tubeless cross-spoke wheels, a feature long sought by touring enthusiasts. The motorcycle is powered by a 334cc Alpha2 liquid-cooled engine producing 29.6 PS and 29.9 Nm of torque, while retaining traction control and multiple ABS modes.

The Green Mamba Roadster sports a matte green finish with copper accents, while the Grey Panther Scrambler gets a metallic grey theme and is powered by the 334cc KATAR engine, delivering 30 PS, 30 Nm of torque and a claimed fuel efficiency of 30 kmpl.

Banking on festive demand
Classic Legends Co-Founder Boman Rustom Irani said the new motorcycles reflect rider feedback and the evolution of the Yezdi brand, which has built a loyal enthusiast community over generations.

Classic Legends Co-Founder Anupam Thareja said launching the new range from Kerala underscores the company’s commitment to one of India’s largest mid-capacity motorcycle markets. He added that the company aims to become the leading motorcycle brand in its segment in the state.

Competitive positioning
The refreshed line-up comes at a time when competition in India’s premium motorcycle market is intensifying. By combining product upgrades with a rapid dealer network expansion, Jawa Yezdi is seeking to capitalise on festive demand while improving accessibility and after-sales support.

The company will continue to offer its ownership assurance programme, including a four-year/50,000 km warranty, roadside assistance and annual maintenance package options.
