SEPC Bags ₹855-Cr EPC Order From Steel Authority Of India At Burnpur

SEPC (formerly Shriram EPC Ltd), a leading EPC company, has secured a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) worth ₹854.57 crore from Steel Authority of India Ltd’s IISCO Steel Plant (ISP), Burnpur.

The order is for executing the Pellet Plant Balance of Plant (BOP), including civil and structural works, for Pellet Plant Package-2 under SAIL-ISP’s 4.08 MTPA crude steel expansion project. The project is scheduled for completion within 32 months.

Strengthens industrial EPC portfolio

The contract further strengthens SEPC’s presence in the industrial EPC segment and reflects the continued confidence of marquee customers in the company’s engineering capabilities and project execution expertise.

Over the years, SEPC has built a diversified portfolio across industrial infrastructure, water and wastewater management, roads and mining, executing complex projects for both government and private sector clients.

Financial performance

In FY26, SEPC reported total income of ₹1,086 crore, compared with ₹646 crore in the previous year. Net profit more than doubled to ₹54 crore.
