Brigade Group has signed a lease agreement with HealthEdge, a US-headquartered healthcare technology company backed by Bain Capital, for approximately 1.62 lakh sq. ft. of super built-up area across 11 floors at Brigade Square in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Brigade Square is the Group’s first IT office building in the city and is located in Technopark Phase 1. The 2 lakh sq. ft. development is designed to cater to the requirements of technology-driven businesses and global enterprises.

HealthEdge provides AI-powered software and technology-enabled services to help health plans modernise healthcare administration. Its integrated platform covers claims administration, payment accuracy, provider network management, care management and risk adjustment.

Strengthening Thiruvananthapuram’s tech ecosystem
The leasing agreement marks a significant milestone in Brigade Group’s expansion in Thiruvananthapuram and underscores the city’s growing attractiveness as a destination for global technology and healthcare companies.

Brigade Group Joint Managing Director Nirupa Shankar said, “Our objective is to create high-quality, technologically equipped workspaces that attract global businesses to the city. Brigade Square was therefore envisioned as a future-ready workplace that can meet the evolving technology, infrastructure and employee experience requirements of world-class organisations.”

She added that HealthEdge’s presence as a key occupier validates Thiruvananthapuram’s potential as a technology destination while contributing to high-quality employment opportunities and strengthening the wider business ecosystem.

HealthEdge, CEO Kevin Adams said health plans are facing pressure to control costs and operate more efficiently, increasing the need for technology and services partners that can deliver measurable results.

“Our teams in India are central to that work, with deep expertise in AI and engineering, product development, and operations. This new campus in Thiruvananthapuram reflects our long-term commitment to those teams and to the growth we’re building together at HealthEdge,” he said.

Campus to house multiple functions
HealthEdge’s new campus will bring together teams across engineering, product development, technology, operations and corporate functions.

The facility will feature dedicated workplace and employee amenities aimed at supporting collaboration, innovation and employee experience. These include an executive floor with a boardroom, meeting rooms and executive dining, along with a cafeteria, training rooms, collaborative workspaces, wellness rooms and a mothers’ room.

Brigade expands presence in Thiruvananthapuram
Brigade Group is also pursuing a larger development plan in Thiruvananthapuram. The Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Kerala to develop a 2 million sq. ft. World Trade Center at Technopark Phase 1.

Brigade Square will form part of this larger development, strengthening the Group’s presence in the city’s commercial and technology ecosystem.

The proposed World Trade Center is expected to enhance Thiruvananthapuram’s ability to attract multinational companies, technology businesses and other knowledge-driven enterprises, while providing global companies with a platform to establish and expand their operations in Kerala.
