Suzuki India Launches Hayabusa Special Edition At ₹19.90 Lakh

CW Bureau ·

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL), the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, has launched the Hayabusa Special Edition, adding exclusive styling and premium finishing elements to its flagship sport motorcycle.

Priced at ₹19.90 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the Special Edition is positioned alongside the refreshed Hayabusa, which is priced at ₹18.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Exclusive styling for Special Edition
The Hayabusa Special Edition is offered in Pearl Vigor Blue and gets special decals, a distinctive wheel finish and a three-dimensional SUZUKI fuel tank emblem.

It also features a Special Edition potting emblem on the fuel tank, anodised muffler-end and heat-guard components, along with a single-seat cowl supplied as standard equipment.

Suzuki said these additions are aimed at enhancing the motorcycle’s distinctive styling while retaining its established design character.

Three new colour options
Alongside the Special Edition, Suzuki has refreshed the Hayabusa with three new colour combinations:

  • Candy Daring Red / Glass Sparkle Black
  • Metallic Galaxy Gray / Candy Burnt Gold
  • Pearl Vigor Blue / Pearl Brilliant White

The latest variants are available through Suzuki Motorcycle India dealerships nationwide.

Electronic features get refinements
The updated Hayabusa and Special Edition also receive several rider-focused electronic refinements. A new ELIIY Power lithium-ion battery is lighter and more compact and is designed to deliver more stable voltage under load.

The Launch Control System and Power Mode Selector have received revised settings. The Smart Cruise Control system now remains active during gear shifts, allowing riders to maintain the selected road speed without holding the throttle open.

1,340cc four-cylinder engine
The Hayabusa continues to be powered by a 1,340cc, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder DOHC engine. Suzuki said the engine delivers a broad torque band for acceleration across the riding range.

Its exhaust note has been tuned through Suzuki’s Exhaust Sound Quality Evaluation Program to provide a stronger sound at start-up while limiting discomfort during regular riding.

Performance hardware
The motorcycle uses a twin-spar aluminium frame and swingarm, adjustable KYB inverted front forks and Bridgestone BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S22 tyres.

Braking is handled by Brembo Stylema front brake callipers paired with twin 320 mm full-floating discs.

Suzuki said the Hayabusa’s bodywork has undergone extensive wind-tunnel testing to optimise wind protection in both normal and fully tucked-in riding positions, while supporting high-speed performance and stability.

Rider assistance systems
The Hayabusa comes with LED lighting and a range of electronic rider-support technologies. These include the Motion Track Traction Control System, Bi-directional Quick Shift System, Suzuki Easy Start System, Low RPM Assist and Slope Dependent Control System.

Suzuki Genuine Accessories and Hayabusa riding apparel are also available for customers.

Prices and availability
The Hayabusa is priced at ₹18.99 lakh, while the Hayabusa Special Edition costs ₹19.90 lakh, with both prices ex-showroom Delhi.

The Special Edition and refreshed colour variants are now available across Suzuki Motorcycle India dealerships nationwide.
