Ampere Doubles Experience Centre Network To Over 600 Outlets

CW Bureau ·

Greaves Electric Mobility Ltd (GEML), the electric mobility business of Greaves Cotton Ltd, has added more than 50 Ampere Experience Centres across 15 States during the Navratri festive period, taking its network to over 600 outlets.

The expansion marks a key step in the company’s growth strategy, strengthening access to electric scooters, sales and after-sales service. Ampere has doubled its network from around 300 Experience Centres in just over a year.

Retail expansion supports EV adoption

India’s electric two-wheeler market is entering a new phase, with penetration approaching 11% and consumer acceptance continuing to rise. A wider product choice, improving technology and stronger value propositions are making electric scooters increasingly practical for everyday mobility.

As adoption grows, physical access to vehicles, customer experience and dependable after-sales support are becoming important factors in purchase decisions. Ampere’s expanding network is designed to address these requirements across markets.

Built for Bharat strategy

“Building a nationwide network of Experience Centres is a critical pillar of Ampere’s aggressive growth journey. We are moving with speed, and we have doubled our footprint in just over a year,” Greaves Electric Mobility, Managing Director, Vikas Singh, said.

“Under our ‘Built for Bharat’ approach, we are creating not merely a larger distribution network, but a strong and trusted ownership ecosystem for India’s rapidly expanding electric mobility market,” he said.

Focus on sales and service

The more than 50 new Experience Centres span key markets across four regions, extending Ampere’s reach to customers with varied mobility requirements.

The company’s approach combines electric scooters designed for India’s diverse roads, terrains and everyday travel needs with an expanding sales and service network.

Network to drive customer confidence

Ampere aims to use its growing retail footprint to improve customer access, strengthen ownership support and build trust in electric mobility.

The company said the expansion provides a stronger retail and service foundation for its next phase of growth as electric two-wheeler adoption increases across India.
