KTM 200 Duke Gets Electronic Rider Assistance Features At ₹2.07 Lakh

CW Bureau ·

KTM, the premium motorcycle brand, has updated its 200 Duke with electronic rider-assistance features, including Ride-by-Wire, a bi-directional Quickshifter, Traction Control and two Ride Modes as standard.

The upgraded motorcycle also gets two new colour options and hardware enhancements. Despite the additions, the price has increased by ₹1,552, taking the ex-showroom Delhi price to ₹2,07,140.

Technology enhances rider control

The new KTM 200 Duke features Ride-by-Wire electronic throttle control and a bi-directional Quickshifter, enabling clutchless upshifts and downshifts.

The Street and Rain Ride Modes allow riders to adapt power delivery to different riding conditions. Traction Control helps manage rear-wheel grip, while the updated TFT display enables riders to access and manage these electronic functions through the instrument interface.

The motorcycle also gets Crawl Assist, a feature designed to reduce rider fatigue in stop-and-go city traffic.

Engine performance and hardware

The KTM 200 Duke delivers peak power of 25 PS and is positioned in the 200cc street-naked motorcycle segment.

Its hardware includes 43 mm WP upside-down (USD) front forks, a wider 150-section rear tyre and a 320 mm front brake rotor. The suspension and tyre setup contribute to the motorcycle’s handling characteristics and aggressive stance.

Two new colour options

The updated motorcycle is available in Liquid Carbon and Slate Grey, adding to its visual appeal.

“The KTM 200 Duke changed the game for performance motorcycling in India, and we have never stopped pushing it forward. With this latest upgrade, we are bringing advanced technology inspired by KTM’s racing DNA, previously associated with our larger-capacity motorcycles, to the 200 Duke,” KTM, Head – Pro-Biking Business Unit, Dinesh Kulkarni, said.

The upgrades bring electronic features previously associated with KTM’s larger-capacity motorcycles to its 200cc offering, while keeping the price increase relatively modest.
