The scheme is also expected to provide JSW Steel with additional cash to pursue its growth plans in a financially prudent manner.
Consolidation to improve efficiency
The amalgamation is expected to reduce the number of entities and regulatory compliances, while simplifying the consolidation of financial statements at the JSW Steel level.
It will also enable the consolidation of administrative and managerial functions, eliminate duplicate record-keeping and support more efficient utilisation of resources.
