Pinq Polka Raises Funds In Pre-Series A Led By Inflection Point Ventures

Contemporary innerwear and shapewear brand Pinq Polka has raised ₹4 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), marking a significant milestone in its growth journey.

The fresh capital will be deployed to scale marketing efforts, particularly for its fast-growing shapewear category. The company is also strengthening internal teams and supporting working capital needs.

Riding The Comfort-First Wave

Founded in 2017 by Manveen Ssharma, Pinq Polka was built with a clear vision: to create a comfort-first innerwear and shapewear brand tailored for modern Indian women. The brand addresses a long-standing gap in the category, where functionality, fit, and everyday comfort were often overlooked.

Over the past three years, the company has witnessed nearly 19X growth, with revenue rising from ₹1.22 crore to ₹20 crore. This growth has been driven by strong consumer demand, product innovation, and a well-established international supply chain.

The brand also gained nationwide visibility following its appearance on Shark Tank India Season 4, which significantly accelerated brand recognition and market traction.

Investor Confidence In A Growing Market

IPV founder & CEO Vinay Bansal highlighted the evolving dynamics of the category: “The innerwear and shapewear market in India is evolving rapidly as consumers increasingly prioritise comfort, fit, and self-expression. Pinq Polka’s consumer-first approach and strong brand recall position it well to scale in this fast-growing segment.”

India’s lingerie and intimate wear market, currently valued at ₹50,000 crore, is projected to reach ₹90,000 crore by 2030-31. Within this, shapewear and accessories are expected to contribute nearly 10%, while comfort wear could account for close to 20%, reflecting a clear shift toward lifestyle-led, comfort-focused consumption.
