Snowman Logistics To Set Up 10,000-Pallet Cold Storage Unit In Hyderabad

CW Bureau ·

Snowman Logistics Ltd will establish a new 10,000-pallet temperature-controlled warehouse in Hyderabad under an asset-light Built-to-Suit (BTS) model.

Construction of the facility has commenced and it is expected to become operational in the second quarter of next year. The warehouse will support temperature ranges from -25°C to +20°C.

Strengthening cold chain network

The facility is located along the NH-44 corridor in Hyderabad’s northern logistics belt, a region witnessing growing demand for temperature-controlled storage due to the expansion of seafood, ice cream, quick-service restaurants (QSR), fruits and vegetables, and pharmaceutical industries.

The expansion is aimed at strengthening Snowman Logistics’ cold chain infrastructure across key consumption and production hubs while improving regional distribution capabilities.

Expansion plans

Snowman Logistics Director Ishaan Gupta said “Hyderabad represents an important market for us. With our existing capacity of 6,800 pallets, this additional 10,000-pallet facility will strengthen our presence across the emerging consumption centres of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The strategic location also provides excellent connectivity for efficient regional distribution.”

With an existing capacity of 154,319 pallets across 21 cities, the Hyderabad facility marks another milestone in the company’s expansion strategy and reinforces its commitment to building a stronger nationwide cold chain network.
