HCLTech has partnered with Brazilian telecom operator TIM Brasil to introduce South America’s first cross-platform eSIM transfer capability, enabling customers to switch eSIM profiles seamlessly between devices and operating systems without requiring physical SIM cards or store visits.
The technology, powered by HCLTech’s Device Entitlement Gateway (DEG), allows users to securely transfer eSIM profiles while upgrading smartphones or moving across different brands. The move is expected to simplify device migration, enhance customer convenience and accelerate the adoption of digital mobile services across Brazil.
TIM Brasil, the country’s leading 5G operator, will use the platform to provide millions of subscribers with a faster and more flexible mobile experience. Customers can activate and transfer their mobile connections in just a few taps while maintaining high standards of security and reliability.
