Apollo Tyres Sees Growth Opportunities Across Global Markets

CW Bureau ·

Apollo Tyres is optimistic about its long-term growth prospects, supported by opportunities in India and its expanding global presence.

In a letter to shareholders, Chairman Onkar S. Kanwar said India continued to offer significant growth potential, while the company’s international operations provided access to diverse markets and customer segments.

Global Footprint

The company’s manufacturing facility in Gyöngyöshalász, Hungary, had become an integral part of Apollo Tyres’ European operations.

The facility reflected the strong partnership the company had built with Hungary over the years.

“We remain committed to contributing to the country’s industrial growth and economic development while continuing to create value for all stakeholders,” he said.

Future Outlook

Kanwar said businesses were operating in an environment shaped by geopolitical uncertainties, climate challenges, technological disruption and evolving stakeholder expectations.

In such a landscape, long-term success was no longer defined solely by financial performance, but by an organisation’s ability to create value responsibly, adapt to change and contribute meaningfully to society, he said.

He said the company remained confident about the opportunities ahead despite evolving geopolitical realities, changing consumer expectations and increasing environmental responsibilities.

“The path ahead will require innovation, agility and responsible leadership. It will require businesses to think beyond short-term gains and focus on creating sustainable value over the long term,” he said.

Growth Strategy

Kanwar said Apollo Tyres was well positioned for its next phase of growth, backed by its strong brands, technology capabilities, manufacturing excellence, sustainability initiatives and skilled workforce.

He said these strengths would help the company navigate a changing business environment while pursuing sustainable long-term growth.
