Radico Khaitan Ltd, a leading Indian spirits company with a portfolio spanning premium and luxury alcoholic beverages, has expanded its Global Travel Retail (GTR) presence in the UK, with its luxury spirits now available at duty-free shops across four major airports.
The company’s premium brands, including Rampur Indian Single Malt Double Cask, Rampur Asava, Rampur Barrel Blush and Sangam World Malt, are now available to international travellers at Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham airports.
Four airports expand global reach
The four airports together handled more than 170 million passengers in 2025, providing Radico Khaitan with a significant platform to increase the visibility and accessibility of Indian luxury spirits among international travellers.
The expansion comes against the backdrop of strong momentum in the company’s premium and luxury portfolio and forms part of its strategy to increase its presence in Global Travel Retail.
Indian luxury targets global travellers
“This entry is an important milestone in our journey to take Indian luxury to the world. Global Travel Retail gives us the opportunity to connect with consumers from different parts of the world and showcase the depth, diversity and evolving quality of Indian spirits,” Radico Khaitan, Managing Director, Abhishek Khaitan, said.
The company said the UK airport network will provide an opportunity to introduce its premium Indian spirits to a wider international audience and encourage greater consumer trial and brand recognition.
Rampur portfolio anchors expansion
The portfolio entering the UK airport network reflects Radico Khaitan’s focus on combining Indian provenance with global standards of craftsmanship.
Rampur Indian Single Malt is crafted at the Rampur Distillery, established in 1943, and draws on the distinctive climate of the Himalayan foothills.
Four expressions strengthen offering
The Rampur portfolio includes Double Cask, Asava and Barrel Blush, with each expression offering a distinct interpretation of Indian single malt whisky.
Sangam World Malt further strengthens the company’s premium whisky portfolio and forms part of its broader strategy of building a diversified range of Indian luxury spirits for international consumers.
Travel retail network set to grow
“We are not asking the world to choose between Scotch and Indian whisky. We are simply making sure that Indian whisky gets a seat at the table, and perhaps a place on the airport shelf as well,” Radico Khaitan, President – International Business, Sanjeev Banga, said.
“This is an exciting opportunity to show travellers that the world of whisky has room for more than one accent, and this time, the accent is unmistakably Indian,” he said.
Company targets wider footprint
Radico Khaitan currently has a presence across more than 65 duty-free locations globally and is targeting expansion to over 100 locations.
The company expects Global Travel Retail to play an increasingly important role in strengthening brand visibility, encouraging trial and building international recognition for Indian spirits.
